Lyndsi Reyes, LCSW
Nobody prepared you for the parts of motherhood that don’t fit into a Hallmark Christmas movie. This is where shit gets real.
Meet Lyndsi Reyes, LCSW
Online Therapy for moms in Texas experiencing Postpartum Rage, Anxiety, and Relational Trauma
I’m Lyndsi Reyes, LCSW. For over 20 years, I’ve helped individuals and families get through some of life’s toughest changes.
I work with women and mothers facing postpartum rage, anger, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, resentment, betrayal in relationships, separation, divorce, and the complex emotions that can come with motherhood and midlife no one prepared them for.
Maybe you’ve spent years as the person everyone relies on. You’ve built a career, raised kids, managed your home, and kept going even when things were hard. Now, something feels different. You may be thinking.
Why am I so angry after having a baby?
Maybe you’ve learned your partner was unfaithful. Or you might be questioning a relationship, your identity, or the life you thought you knew.
No matter why you’re here, you deserve a space to talk openly about what’s going on, without judgment or pressure to have all the answers.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest, even about thoughts and feelings you might not share with anyone else.
My approach is compassionate, direct, and a little cheeky. I’m not here to tell you how to live or make choices for you. I also understand that you come to a professional for a reason. Sure, I use therapeutic modalities like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to get in touch with your values, but we will also go off-cuff if you’d like. Motherhood is messy! Whatever you need at that moment we will work on. I will challenge you but also meet you where you are. I understand you're human first, not a robot. I will not just hand you a checklist and thought log and call it a day.
I’m here to help you make sense of your experiences, notice patterns, look at your options, and start making changes that matter to you. Together, we'll rebuild your trust in yourself as you manage a separation, understand your anger, or rediscover who you are beyond your responsibilities in your career, marriage, or as a mother. Our work will concentrate on what matters most to you.
Experience and Professional Background
I earned my Bachelor’s in Social Work from East Central University and my Master’s from the University of New England.
For the past 20 years, I’ve worked with people and families facing grief, relationship struggles, emotional pain, and big life changes.
I also have special training from Postpartum Support International and about ten years of experience in maternal mental health.
That background, along with my personal experience as a mom with two under two not that long ago, informs my understanding of how relationships, identity, mental health, and motherhood all connect in complicated ways.
You don’t have to know exactly what you want to change before reaching out. Sometimes, the first step is just having a place to talk about what’s been going on.

After obtaining my Master’s degree in social work, I completed 3,000 training hours providing direct clinical therapy and case management services to families, individuals, and children.
